The position is primarily a clinical position related to the diagnosis, treatment, and clinical management of pediatric critical care patients in a multidisciplinary environment that includes physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, dieticians, and social workers. The position offers exposure to a variety of high acuity pediatric critical care patients. The position also requires teaching / supervision of medical students and residents. In addition, the position will provide opportunities to participate in Quality Improvement, research, and publishing.
Job Specific Duties
Our integrated practice model and multidisciplinary approach connects you with sub-specialists at other Nemours facilities in Pensacola, FL, Jacksonville, FL and Wilmington, Delaware. Our division affiliates with University of Central Florida College of Medicine and offers opportunities in both research and teaching of students and Pediatric Residents. We have a multi-site Disorders of Sexual Differentiation (DSD) program in development at NCH, Florida, in coordination with Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, Pensacola and Wilmington, Delaware. Also, outreach clinics exist in Lakeland, Winter Garden and Melbourne.
