Job Title: Regional Sales Leader
Location: Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee
Reports to: Senior Executive Team


Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Leader is responsible for overseeing commercial sales operations across Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. This role requires driving growth through new business and established customer relationships while ensuring profitability and outstanding customer service. The Regional Sales Leader will manage a team, set strategic direction, and coordinate efforts across departments such as project management, service, and support functions to achieve business goals. This role includes full accountability for sales performance, financial results, and fostering a collaborative, safety-conscious team environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Accountability:
    Serve as the primary point of accountability for the region’s performance, including shaping the business culture, vision, and strategy for growth.
  • Financial Performance:
    Oversee financial outcomes related to sales, revenue, operating income, and cash flow. Review financial reports and sales data, ensuring alignment across teams to meet objectives.
  • Sales Management:
    Lead all regional sales activities. Support sales managers in achieving their targets while guiding the broader sales team in reaching both individual and team goals.
  • Team Development & Recruitment:
    Collaborate with leaders to hire, onboard, and develop team members. Create opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth for all team members, focusing on retention of top talent, especially technicians.
  • Operations Collaboration:
    Coordinate with project management, service, and controls departments to maximize customer satisfaction. Ensure smooth alignment between operations and sales to deliver optimal client outcomes.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Partner with the Safety Manager to ensure compliance with safety standards and lead initiatives to continuously improve safety practices within the region. Facilitate monthly safety meetings through local champions.
  • Budgeting & Performance Management:
    Assist in developing annual budgets and closely monitor performance to ensure targets are met. Engage in performance management, goal setting, and daily leadership with your team to drive results.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination:
    Collaborate with department heads on key metrics, ensuring seamless operations between sales and other departments to enhance business performance.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or relevant vocational/technical training.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience in commercial sales, ideally within the HVAC/mechanical services industry, managing revenue exceeding $30M.
  • Proven financial acumen with strong knowledge of P&L, performance metrics, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in creating professional presentations and proficient in Excel for data analysis.

  • Expertise in business principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, and personnel management.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn analysis into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams.
  • Project management experience, including developing plans and achieving specific goals.
