Position Summary:

Position Summary:
As an administrative assistant you will support for the Chair of Lee Health Neogenomics Pathology group, including their designees (such as Vice Chair of Pathology and Chief of Clinical Pathology). Under minimal supervision, performs advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organizational policies and practices. Typically reports to and provides services for one or more Director-level physicians. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as consultants, to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings.
- Utilization of softwares (e.g. Workday, QGenda) used to help manage multi-site scheduling for all Lee Health Neogenomics Team members.
- Assists with and communicates in regards to ongoing Tumor Board scheduling
- Assists with slide retrieval and case preparation
- Facilitates requests of cases among clinical sites and NeoGenomics
- Assists with ancillary studies reports as needed
- Aids communication between the pathologist(s) and the clinical team
- Takes and maintains Pathology Departmental Meeting minutes; generate reports to both Medical Executive Committee and Medical Peer Review Committee (in collaboration with Chair of Pathology)
- Collates and maintains confidential personnel files for all Team members, including diplomas, Board certifications, licenses, and hospital credentials.
- Assists with preparation of presentation materials utilizing PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Reviews and summarizes miscellaneous reports and documents; prepares background documents and outgoing mail as necessary.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Associates or Bachelor degree preferred.
- At leas three (3) years supporting at the executive level
- Knowledge or previous work experience within a hospital setting advantageous (but not required)
- Requires a high level of professionalism and integrity due to the frequency of senior-level internal and external contacts and regular exposure to high-level confidential data.
- Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings.
- Experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook.
