Position Summary :
The Facilities Engineer will provide facilities engineering, maintenance and other facilities services associated with wet and dry laboratory areas as well as administrative area. Will assist in coordination of activities of facility maintenance employees, vendors and contractors involved in repairs and maintenance of facility infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations in regards to facilities management
- Ensure compliance with all NeoGenomics quality, safety and security policies
- Operates, maintains, installs and makes minor repairs to general maintenance, building equipment building systems including, but not limited to, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall / painting and lighting
- Participate or coordinate elements of project management related to implantation, repair of building systems or building construction
- Uses appropriate hand and power tools and equipment to install, repair, maintain, calibrate and verify proper operation of critical systems
- Coordinate and instruct onsite vendor responsibilities and apply vendor safe activity management
- Resolution of emergency issues as they arise
- Responsible for all building equipment routine checks, operating logs, repair and service records
- Maintain an accurate record of inventory of equipment and parts
- Ability to read and review blueprints, schematics and operating manuals to fix, repair and maintain facilities equipment
- Ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards through reporting unsafe practices or adversely impacting environment
- Assist in accomplishing organization's efforts to meet or exceed department goals and plans
- Recommend improved practices to management
Experience, Education and Qualifications :

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $27.05 - $36.00 / hour
In all instances, the salary paid will satisfy minimum salary laws.
