Client is modernizing Trapeze over the next 6 months.
Seeking a Trapeze experienced project manager to lead the team through the final training, testing, go-live and post go-live closeout is needed to ensure successful completion of the project and rollout to all operational levels of Client for Planning & fixed route bus service.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Additional related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis, up to four years.
Five (5) years of experience managing technology projects, including three (3) years managing technical and functional teams.Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute is preferred.Experience providing direct end-user support in a customer service role, with a demonstrated dedication to customer service.Organizational and Analytical Skills :
Excellent organizational abilities, strong analytical skills, and effective communication, including explaining technical information to non-technical audiences.Self-Motivation and Improvement :
Demonstrated self-motivation and a proactive approach to improving IT skills and processes.Ability to act as a catalyst and willing participant in organizational changes.Team Collaboration :
Proven ability to work in a team environment within a matrix organization.Partner effectively with employees, management, users, business areas, vendors, and contractors.Ability to contribute positively and constructively in a team-based setting.Technical Knowledge :
Familiarity with the Information System Implementation Lifecycle is desired.Prioritization and Multi-tasking :
Ability to manage multiple priorities, diverse groups of people, and various activities simultaneously.Project Management Expertise :
Knowledge of the Project Management Institute's PMBOK for standard project management methodologies and processes.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage several diverse projects simultaneously.Skilled in identifying critical risk factors that may impact project success.Technical Proficiency :
Proficiency in Microsoft Project to develop project schedules, assign resources to tasks, track progress, and analyze workloads.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, communication, and reporting.Attention to Detail and Communication :
Excellent attention to detail, with strong oral and written communication skills.Leadership :
