Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer & Account Manager to join our team. The position will be responsible for providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and customer solutions to drive sales and support business growth. This individual will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements, present solutions, and ensure successful implementation of our products and services. Additionally, the role includes account management responsibilities, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion of business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop a deep understanding of company products, services, and solutions.

Engage with customers to identify their technical needs and propose tailored solutions.

Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical proposals to customers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize business opportunities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns.

Collaborate with sales teams to develop strategies for acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts.

Provide technical support and training to customers before, during, and after the sales process.

Prepare and present sales quotes, proposals, and RFP responses.

Work closely with engineering to relay customer feedback and contribute to product development.

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.

Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Assist in developing marketing materials and sales collateral.

Travel to client sites as needed for meetings, demonstrations, and support.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience in a technical sales, sales engineering or account management role.

Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them into customer-friendly solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Ability to develop a client portfolio from zero.

Strong business acumen, hunter profile, and thorough understanding of the sales process.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or within a team.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within North America.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in markets such as HVAC, Industrial Refrigeration, Chemical Processing, Energy, and Aquaculture.

Remote position near major US airport with preferred location in Houston, TX or Morristown, TN.
