Responsibilities
•Manage department of varying size of up to 40 team members.
•Run reports for managers and customers.
•Validate customer exceptions.
•Process hazardous shipments.
•Conduct RCCAs when requested.
•Provide performance coaching.
•Approve and manage payroll hours.
•Conduct audits to validate 6S, Safety and Standard work of facility.
•Escalate and Action continuous improvement ideas.
•Order and manage bookings for shipping.
•Work with other teams to facility velocity target goals.
•Conduct meetings with customers and managers for continuous improvement.
•Respond to internal and external communications regarding orders.
•Calculate GUPH to measure daily efficiency.
•Enforce Company policies and procedures
•Regulate safety
Qualifications
· DOT, IMDG and IATA hazmat Certified
· Six Sigma/Lean Yellow belt
· Basic knowledge in Oracle SQL
· Project management
· Creative problem solving
· Communication skills
· Teamwork
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Customer Orientated
