Position Summary:
· Compile and analyze monthly invoices.
· Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
· Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Primary Accountabilities:

· Prepare monthly accounting reports and monthly closings.
· Prepare all entries related to accounts payable. Responsible for making sure all invoices are paid on time.
· Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing invoices, reconciling accounts and identifying errors and/or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
· Receive, research and resolve internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
· Perform various other accounting functions and duties as needed to support the accounting department.
· File, maintain and distribute accounting documents, records and reports as instructed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Five years accounts payable or general accounting experience and /or BS with accounting concentration.
· Must have knowledge of MAS 90, or other equivalent system experience.
· Must be advanced in using and understanding Excel and Microsoft Office programs.
· 10 key by touch adding machine proficiency.
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Specific expertise, skills and knowledge within accounting gained through education and/or experience.
· Must have strong organizational skills and be very detail oriented.
· The ability to take strategic objectives and accept accountability to drive results through effective actions.
· Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.
· The ability to create and contribute environment that values people, encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication, and provides participation, learning, feedback and recognition.
