Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our team with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and will involve managing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
- Perform account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle tax-related documentation and assist with filing as needed.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting, and tax processes.
- Proficiency in 10-key typing for efficient data entry.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
