What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Structural Designer position at NES Fircroft?
NES Fircroft are recruiting an experiences Civil Structural Designer on behalf of our client on a chemical site in Billingham, Teesside. Contract position, long term duration. 40hrs per week with possible OT.
Role :
The Civil Structural Designer will be based on site and complete design work for a project involving the removal and reinstallation of a structure on site. They will produce the deliverables and prepare a checking package that will be checked by a third party. AutoCAD and E3D primary software for design and modelling.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Must have proven experience within the industry and an understanding of complex structural design projects.
- Proven use of AutoCAD and E3D Design software.
- Must be experienced with analysing information from reports & SoW's and understand what is needed to be produced.
- Projects & Design experience in the heavy engineering industry : Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Energy etc.
- Must be experienced in producing and checking reinforced concrete drawings as part of experience.
- Must have Steelwork and Civils experience
