Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia and providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional patient assessment skills and possess a thorough knowledge of anatomy and airway management.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout the anesthesia process.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care and safety.
- Manage airway complications and perform necessary interventions as required.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, such as EMA, for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding anesthesia procedures and recovery.
Experience
- A valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist is required.
- Proven experience in medication administration, including experience administering injections.
- Familiarity with critical care environments and practices is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to anesthesia practices is essential.
- Previous experience in patient monitoring and assessment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
