Key Responsibilities:
- Plan & Design: Develop comprehensive construction plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Site & Roadway Layouts: Prepare grading plans, roadway alignments, and perform stormwater runoff calculations.
- Utility Systems: Design water distribution and wastewater collection systems to meet regulatory and project requirements.
- Compliance & Narratives: Craft detailed design narratives and ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Master Planning & Studies: Prepare Master Development Plans and conduct engineering feasibility studies.
- Cross-Discipline Coordination: Integrate civil design tasks with architectural and engineering disciplines throughout all project phases.
- Drawing & Shop Review: Review construction and shop drawings to verify adherence to specifications.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with diverse teams—internal and external—to resolve technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- 3–6 years of progressive civil engineering design experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required; a Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Civil 3D and HydroCAD expertise; experience with GIS is advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective collaborator in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Willingness for occasional short-term international travel assignments.
