**About the Role:**
This position requires an individual who can effectively support the implementation and maintenance of the site welding program, including direct hire work activities for Non-Destruct Exam (NDE) and Pre/Post-Welding Heat Treat (PWHT). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Lead Welding Field Engineer, discipline superintendents and crafts regarding Pre/PWHT, Welding, and NDE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of the site welding program.
- Coordinate with construction and Bechtel LFWE to support the overall construction schedule.
- Develop and maintain quality control programs to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure that our site welding program remains competitive.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in welding inspection or related field.
- Proven track record of success in implementing and maintaining quality control programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
