Assistant Controller

An industry leader in retail displays for prestige and luxury brands is looking for an Assistant Controller for their Melville, NY office. This is a permanent position and is onsite 5 days a week from 8 : 30am -5 : 30pm.

Job Overview :

The Assistant Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of data analysis, profit and loss reports, and business objectives. Under the guidance of the Controller, this position will support the preparation and maintenance of the company's financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and other related functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of business objectives.
• Assist in the preparation and oversight of Profit and Loss statements for multiple subsidiaries.
• Coordinate and deliver required reports to the Director of Finance.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks across seven subsidiaries effectively.
• Supervise and assist with various accounting activities to ensure operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Compensation : $95,000.00 per year Plus a large discretionary bonus!
