Controls Panel Technician

The Controls Panel Technician is responsible for constructing control panels and junction panels, installing instrumentation, and ensuring projects meet schedules and budgets. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and wire control panels according to drawings.
• Install conduit and stainless-steel tubing as needed.
• Assist in ordering parts and maintaining inventory in the Panel Shop.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities:

• Test and calibrate instrumentation and controls.
• Wire and install instrumentation in the shop.
• Provide phone support to customers and field personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and Word (preferred).
• Experience with Burner Management and Combustion Control Systems (preferred, but not required).
• Ability to work with a variety of industrial controls and instrumentation setups.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Schooling is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
