Nesco Resource is hiring an entry-level IT professional to join an industry-leading company specializing in technology solutions for large-scale operations. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced IT professionals, supporting critical systems and gaining exposure to key areas like Windows updates, security patching, and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with Windows patch management, including testing and deploying updates in a controlled environment.
• Support system validation and troubleshooting, identifying and escalating issues as needed.
• Perform basic SQL queries to verify the success of system updates.
• Document processes and findings using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Participate in monthly drive testing, traveling up to 200 miles to designated locations (company vehicle provided).
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve patching and security processes.
  
  

What You’ll Need

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of Windows 10/11 and Windows patching methods.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows Server, and WSUS.
• Exposure to SQL databases and ability to run basic queries.
• Any experience with Linux or Group Policy Administration is a plus.
• Interest in cybersecurity, patch management, and IT support.
  
  

Education & Certifications:

• IT certifications like CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft certifications are highly valued.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  
  

Additional Requirements:

• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow structured processes.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for system testing (company vehicle provided - No overnight trips).
• Must be able to pass MVR, background, and drug testing.
• Must be able to work fully on-site in Oklahoma City (Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM).
