The Quality Manager leads the Quality Department, ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system. This role is responsible for ISO certification, audits, vendor evaluations, non-conforming material processes, and customer quality matters. The Quality Manager drives product compliance, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction while enforcing quality processes on the production floor. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with experience in quality assurance, ISO standards, and SAP. This position reports to the General Manager – Projects.

Compensation : $90,000 - $95,000k
Responsibilities
- Quality System Leadership : Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system, reporting on performance and improvements. Ensure ISO certification and compliance. Develop and enforce inspection and testing standards.
- Vendor and Material Oversight : Conduct vendor audits and inspections. Manage non-conforming material processes.
- Customer Relations : Serve as the primary contact for customer audits, complaints, and product inspections. Ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications. Participate in customer meetings and oversee pre-shipment inspections.
- Team Leadership : Supervise, mentor, and manage the Quality Department team (7 direct reports), including performance monitoring and training coordination. Foster a safe, clean work environment and collaborate with other managers on operational goals.
- Continuous Improvement : Lead quality assurance efforts, establish best practices, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Develop workflows for inspection processes and establish a RAMS function (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety).
