Job Summary
The Director of Performance Improvement and Risk Management is responsible for all areas relating to quality management, performance improvement, and risk management. The Director is responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing, improving, educating, and implementing strategies and/or solutions that improve quality, performance, and reduction of risks that are inherent to our organization. The incumbent must remain informed of the dynamic changes that occur within the healthcare environment and proactively implement positive steps to continuously improve in all the areas. The incumbent shall participate in knowledge management, best practices, and improvement forums, educational programs, and other programs to stay abreast of emerging issues affecting quality and risk management. The Director will be expected to provide leadership to all affected areas and parties to change management, risk control, and process improvement. The incumbent will work very closely with the organization’s Leadership Team, Medical Staff, and all Departments.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health-related field.
- 2 years experience in health related performance improvement management.
- CPHQ certification preferred.
- Must have outstanding communications skill, both oral and written.
- Must be able to demonstrate and provide leadership
- Must be computer proficient
- Must be self-directed
- Very strong presentation skills
