Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. This position involves working with children in a private school setting, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and structured lesson plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in various domains, including language, math, science, and social skills.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children’s behavior positively and constructively.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child’s development.
- Incorporate diverse teaching methods, including Montessori principles, to cater to different learning styles.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive environment for children with autism or other special needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and materials to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques for young children.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
