Position Summary
In this role, you'll craft strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for our direct-to-consumer baby and kids' furniture e-commerce brand. The Creative Strategist is the bridge between performance marketers who ground themselves in data to know what an ad needs to accomplish and the creatives who will bring it to life. You'll do this by crafting the messaging, defining the creative approach to break through the noise, and looking back for insights to create new hypotheses and fresh, best-in-class creatives.
Reporting to the Head of Brand, you'll have the opportunity to create impact by working at the intersection of brand and growth marketing - a good fit for an out-of-the-box creative who thrives on testing new ideas based on sound strategies and evolving data.
This full-time position will be based out of our NYC office, with no flexibility for remote full-time.
What You'll Do
- Market Insights : Use data to inform your decision-making process, including creative optimization and creative strategy; bring insights gleaned from testing through paid channels to the larger marketing and creative teams to build on them across channels; monitor competitive trends across interiors, kids & baby, and lifestyle e-commerce spaces, leveraging this data to continuously refine and evolve creative strategies and maintain Nestig's market leadership; build empathy for customers as they build families and find authentic ways to connect and communicate value to them.
- Paid Social UGC Content : You'll drive value by commissioning strategic, ownable UGC content from creators, ensuring paid briefs are clear, concise, inspiring, and aligned with business goals and performance objectives; recruit creators that align with the goals for a campaign's positioning and build clear, inspiring briefs, storyboards, and VO scripts that leverage both important value props and visuals; edit and / or work with a video editor to create multiple variations of ads for creative testing, including scene sequencing and post-production graphical overlays. Responsible for usage rights management.
- Paid Social Non-UGC Content : Develop new concepts for ads using still photography, campaign video, graphics, and renderings, including both static and visual creative opportunities; communicate how to successfully execute and bring the vision to life with copy and design; bring social-first ideas for brand studio and editorial shoots for paid social.
