Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
This position will work the overnight shift: 11pm-7:30am, Sunday - Thursday.
The Porter is a vital member of the team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The primary role of the Porter is to ensure that the work environment is safe and clean for all employees.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Cleans warehouse, offices, hallways, lobby, break room, rest rooms, corridors and other work areas
- Empties trash containers and transports waste to disposal area
- Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies
- Keeps walkways clean
- May perform light maintenance, operate shredder and baler
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
SKILLS
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.00-$21.02*. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
