Job Summary
This Controls Technical Specialist I role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing the accuracy, reliability, and system control data credibility of PLC and PC-based automation systems. You will be responsible for overseeing PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment and collaborating with our maintenance team to resolve issues and support production line modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain automation systems, including instrumentation, PLC, and HMI/SCADA software and hardware.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of as-built electrical and controls documentation.
- Coordinate control system software upgrades.
- Administer network and data administration tasks for networked, PC-based, control systems related equipment.
Requirements
You must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, or an Associate's Degree in a technical discipline, along with relevant experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI systems.
