About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Lead Accounting Coordinator. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in accounting matters, providing input on practices, procedures, and policies. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in conducting compliance audits, identifying cost savings opportunities, and developing action plans to improve plant procedures and policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive improvement in plant procedures, policies, and practices
- Collaborate with factory team members to conduct audits, identify gaps, and develop action plans
- Analyze data to perform health checks for month end closing and policy adherence
- Work with key departments to identify cost savings and calculate project benefits
- Assist in the budget process by working with the Controller and overseeing department budgets
- Complete costing of new materials
Key Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2 years of accounting or data analysis experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, military, or related environment
The salary range for this position is $48,000 - $69,000. This figure is based on market conditions and may vary depending on the selected candidate's background, skills, and qualifications.
