What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Specialist/Accounting Clerk position at ST?
Position Summary:
This position handles all transactions necessary to ensure compliance with distributor, federal and state requirements. This position is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Reconciliations and assist with month end processing
Essential Job Duties:
- Item management processes pricing maintenance, and item set up in various required internal and external systems
- Handles compliance related tasks around item setup including federal and state label registrations
- Prepare state license renewals for all states that we ship to for wholesale and direct to consumer
- Prepare required monthly wholesale reports for all states
- Process Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable
- Monitor Cash accounts daily
- Prepare Journal entries
- Reconcile balance sheet
- Assist with the month end process
Minimum Experience & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in office setting performing accounting tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
- Ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
