Nestl Operational Services Worldwide SA is seeking a highly skilled Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) Leader to champion the SH&E function for a high-volume Packaging operations.
This key position on the Site Leadership Team will be responsible for protecting and improving the safety of employees and environmental sustainability through prevention. The successful candidate will encourage a culture of caring where safety, health, and environmental sustainability are ingrained as core values.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in Site Leadership Team meetings and lead, coach, and develop managers and line leaders across all functions to become effective SH&E leaders/coaches.
- Partner with the Site leadership team to develop Site SH&E key priorities, drivers, and activities with key performance indicators to drive Site SH&E performance improvement.
- Ensure sites maintain a continuous 'audit ready' state of compliance with company SH&E policies and procedures as well as applicable external regulatory requirements.
- Develop SH&E best-in-class programs, systems, and processes, including training and mentoring to establish clear procedures on SH&E measures and precautions.
- Lead the effective implementation and utilization of risk assessment and risk prediction processes across sites to ensure these are effective at identifying and mitigating hazards and communicated effectively to all affected employees.
- Investigate all SH&E-related incidents using tools to drive to root cause and identify actions to prevent recurrence.
- Implement all actions to prevent recurrence while ensuring an effective injury case management process is fully implemented, well understood, and functioning as desired.
- Develop Site SH&E talent through active support, coaching, and feedback to prepare them for more challenging positions.
- Provide technical expertise/coaching as needed in all areas and initiatives of the function.
