The Diversity and Inclusion Sr. Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and mobilization of Nestl USA's diversity & inclusion strategy across the organization. A successful candidate will understand the business impact of maintaining an inclusive workplace offering opportunity to all employees and will leverage key metrics and strategies to drive positive business outcomes.

The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

Needs Assessment :

  • Collaborate with divisional partners to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities within their specific areas.
  • Conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather insights on employee experiences and perceptions related to inclusivity and opportunity.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend actionable strategies to address identified needs.

Collaboration with HRBPs :

  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to integrate D&I initiatives into overall HR strategies and practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to HRBPs in implementing relevant programs, policies, and practices that align with organizational goals.
  • Assist HRBPs in developing tailored D&I training and resources for managers and employees.
  • Data Management :

  • Oversee the completion and submission of all benchmarks / survey, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
  • Monitor and track metrics to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership that summarize benchmarks and survey findings and recommendations.
  • Program Development and Implementation :

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives and programs that promote an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of initiatives with business objectives and values.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or Multicultural Studies
  • Five (5) years work experience in Diversity & Inclusion or related field
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, and work some evenings and weekends to support programs and events
  • EXPERIENCE :

  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion in a corporate environment, preferred
  • Experience working with Employee Resource Groups or other volunteer groups, preferred
  • Experience creating project plans and run of shows to support programs and initiatives.
  • SKILLS :

  • Ability to exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate must have strong computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including : Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & various databases.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented team player with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to make independent and discretionary judgments to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage & connect to various diverse groups and individuals.
  • Must work well with limited direction and functions well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of SAP helpful as well as the ability to learn new computer programs.
