What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Maintenance position at Nestle?
Position Summary
- Working flexible shift hours.
- Support NCE/TPM in the factory, to include participation in NCE meeting (SHO, DOR, WOR etc.) and MWG participation.
- Gains knowledge on all basic production equipment in the plant.
- Performs final assemblies on all equipment and pre-flight.
- Maintains equipment by the use of PM systems.
- Maintains accurate, precise records where required. This to include equipment logs, communication logs, P.M. sheets, job orders, etc.
- Anticipates problems and takes corrective action prior to equipment failure.
- Performs basic mechanic adjustments.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- 3 years of prior Industrial mechanical experience required.
- Basic computer experience required.
- TPM experience preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems.
- Must be willing to work days or nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Show basic knowledge of lubrication, fasteners and correct use of tools.
- Show ability to operate and assemble equipment, make adjustments and minor repairs.
- Lifting requirements exterting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently.
