The Event Assistant will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional experiences for attendees. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics such as venue bookings, vendor management, and equipment setup.
- Help create and maintain event schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth event operations.
- Support on-site event setup, including decorations, signage, and seating arrangements.
- Serve as a point of contact for attendees during events, addressing inquiries or resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and compile reports to assess the event's success.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing event materials, processing invoices, and maintaining databases.
- Stay informed about event trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
