JOB TITLE: Accounting Intern

LOCATION: Onsite - Downtown Orlando, Florida
Summary:
We are currently recruiting the best and the brightest in both Marketing or Analytics.
Prospective interns have a significant opportunity to enrich their education, expand their knowledge base and meaningfully contribute to a team with an exciting internship opportunity at Net Conversion. Interns will have the opportunity to help support a variety of accounting and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of our finance department. Your primary duties will include processing both AR/AP invoices, and reconciling accounts.

What You’ll Do:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Prepare invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and employees regarding accounting-related matters.
- Manage vendor payments accurately to maintain good supplier relationships
- Monitor banking transactions on daily basis
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as accounting principles and regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Gmail, Google Sheets and Google Drive
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with Quickbooks is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Skilled at organizing information and digital files.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently.
- A strong attention to detail with the ability to jump from task to task
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate both written, visually, and verbally with internal staff, customers and vendors.
- Ability to work well with all levels within the organization.
- Comfortable with Apple Operating System.
- Full-time availability.
Ideal Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
Note: Internship opportunities fluctuate throughout the year based on the business need. Internship will begin anytime in the year and may continue permanently. Hours per week will be 40 hours. This is a paid internship at $17.00 per hour, paid weekly, consistent with company payroll procedures/policies required by law.
