Job Type: Full-time (hourly)
Pay: The rate of pay is based on experience. Paid bi-weekly by direct deposit on Fridays.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a half-hour lunch or 5 PM with an hour lunch. This position requires 40 hours a week depending on workload.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day tasks in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries according to accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare financial statements and assist in analyzing.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
- Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
- Help in establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Accurate and timely filing of all taxes.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and laws.
- Other projects and duties assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience in payroll processing and understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.
