Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings into verbatim transcripts.
• Strictly adhere to client-specific style guides and deadlines to ensure the highest quality of work.
• Collaborate with our supportive in-office team to receive guidance and assistance as needed.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in court reporting, legal transcription, or scoping.
• Exceptional listening skills with acute attention to detail.
• Outstanding literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Strong typing proficiency with a focus on both speed and accuracy.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
• Capability to process challenging audio/text content, including potentially sensitive material.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  
  

Qualifications

• Significant experience in transcribing legal content, particularly depositions and hearings.
• Court reporting students will also be considered for this opportunity.
• This position is currently not open to residents of Massachusetts or California.
