Title: RN-LTC Charge Nurse

Location: Wichita, KS 67211

Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (GT36/48hrs alternating guarantee)

Pay: $57 - $60/hr (Only traveler accepted above 50 miles)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The Charge Nurse will oversee nursing staff, provide direct care to residents, and ensure high-quality, compassionate services are delivered in a safe and compliant environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and experience working with elderly patients.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate CNA and nursing staff during shifts.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs.
• Assess residents' health and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Develop and update individualized care plans for residents.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Provide support to residents and families, addressing concerns and promoting a comfortable environment.
• Assist with wound care and other specialized nursing interventions.
• Support staff training and adherence to best care practices.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in crisis situations as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid RN License.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
