Laboratory Supervisor - Chattanooga, TN
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee both technical and non-technical personnel and daily laboratory operations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining high service levels, quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise laboratory staff, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and achieving departmental goals.
- Oversee specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
- Perform technical and non-technical duties as needed.
- Manage personnel, service levels, patient satisfaction, and collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.
- Drive performance in quality, service, and financial metrics.
Qualifications:
- State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Licensure in 3 technical specialty areas preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Medi-tech
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
