Title: Laboratory Technician
Duration: 12 Months with possible extensions
Location: Johnston, IA 50131
Description:
- High Throughput Production Genotyping Lab.
Responsibilities:
- Operate automated liquid handlers to prepare and dispense DNA and markers for PCR processing.
- Move large batches of samples through time-sensitive processes to complete daily workload.
- Follow written instructions, as well as guidance from team members to complete tasks.
- Communicate clearly within the Array Tape team for troubleshooting and prioritization.
- Ability to flex working hours to accommodate schedule during peak season.
Skill Set:
- Attention to detail and ability to remain focused while performing repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication while working with a team.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a lab environment is beneficial but not required. We welcome all applicants who are eager to learn and contribute to our team.
Salary : $19 - $20
