The Opportunity
We’re excited to offer a summer internship for a Strategy and Business Operations Intern to join our team in our Lehi, Utah office.
This role is perfect for a proactive, curious MBA student eager to gain hands-on experience in business strategy, operational analysis, and the cybersecurity industry. You’ll work alongside our CFO, VP Product Strategy, CEO, and other leaders, contributing to real projects that influence Netcraft’s growth and customer impact.
At Netcraft, our internships are not about 'pet projects'. You’ll be embedded in a real team, working on genuine and meaningful initiatives, from day one. Whether you’re analyzing market trends, supporting strategic planning, or optimizing internal processes, your work will make a tangible difference.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will evolve throughout the summer, starting with foundational tasks and progressing to more complex contributions. Typical duties may include:
- Conducting research on cybersecurity trends, competitors, and market opportunities to inform business strategy.
- Assisting in the development of business cases and proposals for new services or operational improvements.
- Analyzing data to recommend process optimizations for internal teams.
- Supporting the creation of reports and presentations for stakeholders, including customers and leadership.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, sales, and product) to align operational workflows with strategic goals.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions to explore innovative approaches to business challenges.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a motivated individual who brings enthusiasm and a fresh perspective. You’ll need to meet the following criteria to be eligible:
Already have the right to work in the US, or able to obtain it by the internship start date.
Are pursuing a graduate degree in Business.
Have prior experience in management consulting or private equity.
Possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data to solve complex problems autonomously.
Are comfortable communicating novel ideas clearly.
Take an organized, detail-oriented approach to tasks and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Bonus Points if you also have
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, Data/BI tools, or basic programming (e.g. Python) is helpful but not required.
