W2 Contract to Hire with benefits We are looking for a combination of Scrum Master and working with ITSM ServiceNow teams for this position Scrum Master/Project Manager GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY Agile Delivery Scrum Master with Infrastructure ServiceNow team experience Responsibilities 1. Facilitates fit-for-purpose Agile processes with a focus on building relationships, communicating effectively, and getting things done within a fast-paced environment 2. Ensures the product backlog items meet the needs of the development team, to enable its members to deliver the anticipated value to stakeholders 3. Coaches cross-functional teams on the development and refinement of Agile processes to support the progress of initiatives and delivery of solutions that maximize stakeholder value 4. Increases the team’s understanding of Agile principles and encourages experimentation and innovation 5. Facilitates a cross-functional business prioritization process that ensures team resource planning is aligned with business needs 6. Encourages collaboration and assists in the development of a shared understanding of evolving requirements and project needs REQUIRED • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of work experience, of which 3+ years of project delivery experience in an Agile Team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience • ServiceNow project experience • Solid knowledge of Agile processes and understanding of principles • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques • Experience using Agile tools to manage backlog and track iterations • Ability to help the team focus on, and drive towards, target deadlines • Strong written and verbal communications, with a capacity to influence decisions • Strong attention to detail PREFERRED • Azure DevOps experience • Technical acumen or desire to participate in technical conversations • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification • Change management experience SKILLS & ABILITIES • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – or equivalent or higher certification • Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to lead and to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines • Strong ability to facilitate problem solving and continuous improvement • Adaptable to different personalities, working styles, and varying levels of Agile experience • Ability to work well within an Agile team environment and facilitate team conversations • Advanced oral and written communication skills • Complex analytical and problem-solving skills • Detail orientation and ability to deliver a high level of accuracy • Ability to multi-task and work through ambiguity • Ability to work outside normal business hours with users in different time zones when needed
