About the Position
Netgroup Engineering is seeking an Aftermarket Maintainability Engineer to join our team in Greensboro, NC, supporting our client Volvo Group. This role focuses on integrating maintainability considerations into the early development phases of new technologies, ensuring data-driven decisions that enhance repairability, diagnostics, and overall cost of ownership.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the early concept development phase to optimize maintainability.
- Utilize data analysis to identify high-impact maintainability areas and develop technology concepts.
- Improve data collection methods to accelerate data-driven decisions on maintenance costs.
- Lead early failure mode analysis to define repair and diagnostics strategies.
- Analyze product and project information to evaluate technical solutions from a maintainability perspective.
- Visualize maintenance costs to validate feature-level targets in the technology roadmap.
- Act as the maintainability representative in technology sub-streams.
- Continuously develop and share knowledge within the organization.
