Position Summary
888 VoIP is a technology-focused distribution company looking for a Director of Operations to help scale and streamline our growing organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, implementing efficient systems, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The Director of Operations will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support cross-functional execution, operational consistency, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day business operations and drive continuous process improvements
- Align operational efforts with company goals and support long-term growth strategies
- Manage departmental coordination and enforce accountability across business functions
- Monitor and report on performance metrics and KPIs for departments and company-wide operations
- Lead initiatives to improve warehouse, logistics, and inventory efficiency
- Maintain quality control standards and streamline order fulfillment
- Support ERP optimization and ensure operational data integrity
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service-level terms where applicable
- Develop contingency plans and risk management protocols for operational disruptions
- Participate in strategic planning and implementation alongside the executive team
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in operations or a similar role, preferably in distribution or tech-enabled industries
- Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management
- Ability to interpret operational data and convert insights into actionable improvements
- Experience with ERP (Acumatica is a plus) and inventory systems; proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite
- Familiarity with compliance standards and risk mitigation strategies
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage change in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is required
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
- EOS is a plus
Experience
- 7 years of progressive experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics roles
- At least 3 years in a senior or director-level operational leadership position
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and implementing operational efficiencies
- Experience with scaling operations in high-growth or evolving environments
- Experience integrating new technologies or systems within operational environments
