What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Telecommunications position at Network Cabling Services, Inc.?
- Hiring for Installers, Technicians and Lead Technicians. Hourly rate will depend on experience and skill level / knowledge.
- Read and understand Plans
- Install J-Hook pathways
- Install Network cabling, Coax, Composite Wire, Fiber, Copper
- Labeling
- Build out IDF Ladder Rack and Racks
- Dress bundles in groups of 24 -Using a Cable Comb
- Terminate Patch Panels
- Experience with Testing equipment, Fluke DSX, OTDR, Power Meter
- Fiber Termination / Fusion Splicing
- Troubleshooting common Cable Fails
- Troubleshooting Fiber
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Safe Driving Record – if assigned company truck
- Reliable Transportation
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly, and up to 75lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb ladders, reach overhead, kneel down for long periods of time
- Candidate must pass a drug test, JLA and State of Florida background checks.
- Common Sense Knowledge with hand and power tools
- Punctual
- Attention to Detail
- Able to Follow directions
- Positive Attitude
Schedule:
- 40 hours a week minimum
- Monday – Friday 7am-530pm – Varies by Site
- Nights and Weekends occasionally
- Overnight travel occasionally
- Overtime as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
