Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team, specializing in data center construction. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and ensuring accurate and efficient data integration for the design, construction, and commissioning of data centers. This position requires a strong background in BIM, knowledge of data center infrastructure, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities: BIM Coordination: Lead and manage the coordination of BIM models for largescale data center construction projects. Ensure that all disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.) are accurately integrated into the BIM process.

• Model Management: Develop, manage, and maintain 3D models using industry standard software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• Oversee the progression and updates of models throughout the design and construction phases.
• Clash Detection: Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between different trades and disciplines.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and subcontractor teams to address design issues and ensure constructability.
• Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of BIM data, including geometry, documentation, and parameters throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Preparing drawings: Use AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings
• Collaboration & Communication: Facilitate collaboration among the design team, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings.
• Documentation & Compliance: Develop and maintain project documentation and ensure all BIM related processes are in compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
• Manage the organization of project documentation for easy access by all stakeholders.
• Standards & Protocols: Ensure compliance with company BIM standards, processes, and protocols.
• Help establish BIM standards and improve workflows to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Reporting & Monitoring: Prepare and provide regular BIM progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor the progress of BIM deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
• Visiting job sites: Visiting job sites to troubleshoot BIM issues and resolve problems.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in the construction of data centers or largescale MEP projects.
• Familiarity with data center specific design and construction challenges, such as cooling systems, power distribution, and redundancy.
• Hands-on experience with data center construction, infrastructure planning, and mission critical facilities is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Certification in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks) is preferred.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into building models.
• Experience with clash detection software and model coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead coordination meetings and interface with multiple teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of project management tools and software, such as BIM 360, Procore, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with subcontractors and external consultants on large-scale projects.
• An understanding of telecommunication systems.
• Familiarity with the materials and equipment related to data center construction practices.
• Self-starter that is proactive with tasks and responsibilities. Having a strong work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, focused on customer service.
