Job Description:

Training Coordinator will be responsible for creating, managing, coordinating, and administering training programs for employees across various departments. Working within the Human Resources team, you will play a key role in ensuring all training initiatives enhance employee skills, performance, and overall productivity while adhering to government contract requirements and compliance standards. The Training Coordinator will leverage advanced technology, including AI-powered software and multimedia tools, to develop engaging training materials.


Requirements:

  • Onsite at our corporate office, McLean, VA, with occasional travel for training events and corporate meetings
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment requires flexibility and adaptability

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in training coordination, instructional design, or corporate training
  • Experience working in government contracting or a regulated industry is a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting professionally with employees at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in training materials and records
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in eLearning and video production tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as iSolved or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered training tools and their application in instructional design

Responsibilities:

Coordinate Training Programs

  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess training needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Ensure training required under government Statements of Work (SOWs) is delivered on time and meets compliance standards.
  • Schedule training sessions and ensure all necessary resources are available for seamless program delivery.
  • Communicate training schedules, objectives, and logistics to participants and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) for training tracking, reporting, and compliance.

Training Material Development & AI Integration

  • Design and develop high-quality training materials, including presentations, manuals, handouts, and multimedia content.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to create interactive e-learning modules, infographics, and AI-enhanced video tutorials.
  • Apply strong graphic design skills to create visually engaging training materials that incorporate graphics, animations, motion graphics, and branding elements using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar).
  • Ensure training content aligns with adult learning principles and is engaging, effective, and accessible


Compliance & Government Contract Training

  • Ensure all training programs comply with federal regulations, government contracting requirements, and industry standards.
  • Maintain documentation and LMS database for compliance audits and reports.
  • Track and report training completion rates to demonstrate compliance with contract requirements and workforce development goals.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and government inspections.

Participant & Training Session Management

  • Manage participant registrations, attendance tracking, and pre-training materials distribution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for participants, addressing inquiries and providing support.
  • Coordinate with external trainers or vendors for specialized training sessions

Training Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect feedback from participants through surveys and assessments to measure training effectiveness.
  • Analyze training data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement enhancements to training programs based on feedback and performance results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Instructional Design, Training & Development, or Corporate Learning (e.g., ATD, CPTM) is a plus.
  • Experience developing online microlearning modules and interactive training experiences
