Description
The candidate will provide graphic design skills and expertise to produce print marketing and communications collateral (such as annual reports, posters, brochures, postcards, one-pagers), web and social media graphics, infographics, video and multimedia, and other print and digital products.
Technical Skills and Responsibilities
The candidate will support specific client projects and / or task areas, such as graphic design, digital design, wireframes, content creation, web content management, animation, illustration, advertising design and brand development. The candidate will synthesize complex program initiatives and policies to create design products for key audiences including employees, industry, stakeholders, and the flying public. The position requires working with communications strategists to formulate and pitch concepts to clients. .
Deliver excellent client service, including attending promptly to creative requests, keeping customers abreast of progress, and developing and seeking input on solutions for any issues that arise.Support the quality control process (e.g., proofreading, formatting, editing, production preparation) and ensure that all work performed is error-free.Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, customer service skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Minimum Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Art Design, Communications, Marketing or related discipline.Extensive professional experience with entire Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign) specifically with print materials, web design, video production and multimedia presentation.6 years of experience in professional commercial design.
Qualifications
Must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers with the ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients.Must have a strategic understanding of marketing / communication / social media campaigns in order to recommend and incorporate visual communications.Adaptive design eye, attention to detail, creative thinking skills, and a strong sense of concept development.Organized with the ability to handle concurrent projects and multi-task.Willing to pitch in and perform related duties as assigned.A portfolio is required.Knowledge of graphic design software and tools including Adobe Creative Cloud : Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred but not required
Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript, Power Point, Prezi, Web Content Management System (CMS) experience, animation, audio editing, video editing, writing, web analytics, familiarity with designing for accessibility and usability
