At Network for Hope (NFH) the Director of Partnership Services is a key leadership role responsible for advancing Network for Hope's mission by strengthening key donation partnerships and providing strategic leadership and oversight for the Partnership Services Department. This role combines strategic planning, relationship management, team leadership, and regulatory compliance oversight to optimize donation outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with key donation partners including hospital and funeral home leadership, coroners, and clinical staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning |
1. Develop and implement strategic plans for hospital services to increase donation rates and optimize the donation process. 2. Collaborate with the executive team to set organizational goals and ensure alignment with NFH's mission and objectives. 3. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain compliance and operational effectiveness. |
Key Donation Partner Relationship Management |
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital executives, medical directors, funeral homes, coroners, and other key stakeholders to enhance donation outcomes. 2. Serve as the primary liaison between the OPO and key donation partners, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. 3. Develop and implement education and engagement programs to support donation awareness and participation. |
Team Leadership & Development |
1. Lead, mentor, and manage the Partnership Services team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. 2. Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of Partnership Services staff, ensuring they are equipped to meet organizational goals. 3. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. |
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance |
1. Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations governing organ, tissue, and eye donation. 2. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to monitor and improve donation processes, ensuring the highest standards of care and service. 3. Prepare and oversee audits, inspections, and reviews by regulatory bodies, addressing any findings promptly. |
Education, experience and training
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Related fields may include healthcare, education, public relations, business, social work, or marketing.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience required. Minimum of 5 years of hospital development experience required or significant experience in marketing, client relations, or Organ Donation and Transplantation Collaborative practices.
