At Network for Hope (NFH), we are dedicated to fostering strong relationships with hospitals to maximize donation opportunities while ensuring compliance with all applicable standards, regulations, and laws. As a Hospital Partnership Manager, you will oversee the operations, strategic planning, and employees of the Hospital Partnership department. You will lead a high-performing team, manage hospital-related processes, implement strategies for improvement, and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to support NFH's mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Collaboration & Partnership Management
- Collaborates with hospital leadership to develop and maintain hospital agreements, policies, and procedures that align with applicable standards, regulations, and laws.
- Leads the department in achieving organizational priorities, addressing issues, concerns, and complaints, and coordinating follow-up activities with hospital partners.
- Ensures all department activities comply with accreditation standards, state and federal regulations, and organizational practices.
- Actively engages in donor hospital events, meetings, and leadership rounding with key hospital contacts, ensuring timely follow-up on questions and concerns.
- Fosters continuity between internal departments to ensure effective service delivery, identify opportunities for increased donation, and present consistent messaging to hospital partners.
Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement

Supervises and evaluates the effectiveness of department activities, including data analysis and improvement initiatives. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ensuring hospital reports are analyzed and presented in a manner consistent with regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring that all potential organ/tissue donors in assigned hospitals are identified and referred to NFH in a manner consistent with applicable standards, regulations, and laws to reduce or eliminate missed donation opportunities.
- Collaborates with internal partners in improvement initiatives that directly impact or are impacted by hospitals.
- Conducts, oversees, or assists with improvement projects and activities, including formal PDSAs, to achieve internal and external donation goals and metrics.
Departmental Leadership & Management
- Collaborates with the Director of Partnership Services and/or Chief Partnership Officer to execute strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversees the recruitment, hiring, orientation, and ongoing training of Hospital Services staff, ensuring competency and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborates with the Hospital Partnership Supervisor to build, lead, and maintain a high-performing, highly engaged team that embodies the organization's values while providing excellent customer service and education to hospital partners.
- Leads regular team meetings to discuss strategies, share best practices, and address any challenges or opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures that all staff provide consistent and clear messaging to hospital partners by developing integrated communication strategies with relevant departments.
- Coordinates support services for hospital partners, ensuring adequate coverage during critical times.
- Serves as the point of contact for supervisors for escalated issues, complex situations, and strategic guidance.
- Provides clear performance expectations, assesses employee performance, and offers constructive feedback to improve team performance, identifying necessary training and development opportunities.
- Assists in developing and managing the Hospital Partnership Departmental budget, ensuring compliance with financial goals.
Compliance, Quality Assurance, & Other Duties
- Ensures that all hospital policies related to organ and tissue donation, brain death declaration, and DCD are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversees the development and maintenance of resources to assist in donation-related protocols and processes within partner hospitals.
- Maintains and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and forms annually, ensuring all staff are aware of and adhere to these standards.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and ensures the department adheres to best practices.
- Represents the organization at local, regional, and national meetings, studying best practices to equip the team for success.
- Participates in organizational planning and strategy meetings, contributing insights from the Hospital Partnership team to inform broader decisions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Related fields may include healthcare, education, public relations, business, social work, or marketing.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience and hospital development experience required or significant experience in marketing, client relations, or Organ Donation and Transplantation Collaborative practices.
