Program Analyst - Acquisitions (Teleworking)
Clearance: **U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain Public Trust Clearance**
Work Location - USCG Facility Washington DC – Teleworking
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Acquisition Directorate (CG-9) develops acquisition strategies that deliver affordable assets that meet mission requirements as defined by the Deputy Commandant for Operations and sponsored by the Assistant Commandant for Capability (CG-7). The Learning Management System (LMS) is a software component in the USCG’s training suite that automates training administration and recordation by assigning requirements to users, delivering content, recording user activity, and generating reports.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides input, and assists with development and management of acquisition related documents, such as Program Management Plans, Acquisition Program Baselines, Acquisition Life Cycle Tailoring plans
- Assists with implementation of Risk, Opportunity, and Issue Management for Non-Major Acquisition Program
- Assists with Change Management and managing a document repository in MS TEAMS and SharePoint
- Assists with development of high-level program briefings and correspondence
- Manages program schedule including preparation of briefing charts showing dependencies and major program milestones
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with DoD Acquisition management processes, tools, and techniques required.
- Excellent organizational and both oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a team, execute tasks and projects in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to write and present effective project materials, presentations, status -reporting, etc.
- Provide support in the development of processes and procedures to support program execution and oversight.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years’ experience
- USCG Experience Highly Preferred
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
