NWS, a premier manufacturer and distributor of telecommunications infrastructure solutions, is currently seeking several motivated and customer-centric Inside Sales Representatives to join our Broadband Division. As a pivotal member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by developing new business opportunities and enhancing our relationship with existing customers. This position reports to the Manager, Inside Sales, Broadband, and offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic and innovative environment.
As an Inside Sales Representative, Broadband, you'll play a key role in bolstering the performance of our external sales force while also nurturing and expanding relationships with both current clients and potential leads. This role is crucial in devising and implementing sales strategies that align with customer needs and our overall business goals. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the broadband industry, focusing on both wired and wireless broadband solutions. Your duties will encompass supporting the external sales team through our inside sales efforts, managing your customer portfolio by identifying fresh opportunities, connecting with essential stakeholders, and pushing forward sales activities aimed at broadening our market reach and achieving profitable revenue growth in accordance with our corporate strategies. This role offers the option to work remotely or from any of our offices in North America, with no requirement for travel.
Responsibilities:
- Support outside sales representatives with administrative support
- Generate new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to pitch suitable broadband solutions.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas while maintaining a pipeline of prospects.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure smooth onboarding and resolution of any customer issues.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Utilize CRM software to track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and forecast sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and act on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within our product portfolio.
- Participate in team meetings and share best practices with colleagues to foster a collaborative and high-performing sales environment.
Requirements:
- Proven inside sales experience, preferably in the broadband or telecommunications industry.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience working with CRM software and understanding of pipeline management.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred.
