Networks Connect is conducting a search on behalf of our client, a local Healthcare System, for a Collections Manager to oversee and optimize our hospital’s collections, recoveries, and customer service operations. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in hospital billing, patient accounting, and revenue cycle management who are passionate about financial efficiency and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hospital collections, recoveries, and customer service operations.
- Lead a team to ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer regulations.
- Monitor accounts receivable (AR) reports to identify potential issues and solutions.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance programs for the collections team.
- Ensure optimal staffing levels and budget management to meet financial goals.
- Implement billing system updates to stay compliant with regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with managed care teams to optimize payer contracts and revenue strategies.
- Monitor and track customer service calls and patient complaints to improve satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, etc.).
- 3 years of management experience in revenue cycle, billing, or collections.
Preferred:
- Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) certification.
- 5 years of hospital billing or patient accounting experience.
- Expertise in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, UB04 forms).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in healthcare billing systems and reporting tools.
