- Focus on your patients while in clinic** You won't have to answer phones while patients are in clinic. This is a huge difference between us and other medical groups
Key responsibilities are:
- Create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident in the careprovided
- Check patients in and enter patient demographic information into electronic healthrecord
- Learn basic insurance coverage information and run estimates on cost of coverage usingsoftware
- Explain insurance coverage and estimated out of pocket costs forcare
- Take payments for patient balances and/or cost ofvisit
- Schedule patients for return appointments
- During slower clinic times or when clinic is not open for patients, make outbound calls for new and current patient follow up needs, using professional tone and exceptionaljudgment
- Complete all data entry and patient check in/out accurately andefficiently
- Communicate with and develop strong working relationships with all teammembers
- Miscellaneous office duties and projects asassigned
- Traveling to other clinics to cover whenneeded
- Giving high fives to colleagues

- You have at least 1 year experience in a medical reception role or at least 1 year working in a high volume, customer servicerole
- You have great communication skills, both verbal and written
- You are professional and friendly along with great attention todetail
- You have a commitment to customer service with work experience to show forit
