Bankruptcy Attorney

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bankruptcy law, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment. The attorney will work directly with clients, courts, and other legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation and strategic counsel in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings.
• Draft, review, and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, motions, and other legal documents.
• Advise clients on bankruptcy options and assist with formulating financial recovery strategies.
• Represent clients at bankruptcy hearings, creditor meetings, and other legal proceedings.
• Negotiate with creditors and other stakeholders to resolve claims and disputes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in bankruptcy laws, rules, and regulations.
• Manage multiple bankruptcy cases efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure quality service and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in NY
• Experience practicing bankruptcy law, with expertise in Chapter 7, 11, and 13.
• In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy law, court rules, and procedural requirements.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex cases.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
