We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bankruptcy Case Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys to manage bankruptcy cases from start to finish, providing crucial support to both clients and legal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with bankruptcy procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for helping individuals and businesses navigate financial difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bankruptcy cases from intake to completion, ensuring timely and accurate filing of documents.
- Work directly with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other legal documents.
- Schedule meetings with clients, attorneys, and creditors, and follow up on outstanding documents or information.
- Maintain case files and monitor deadlines, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress and address questions.
- Prepare clients for meetings with trustees, hearings, and other bankruptcy-related proceedings.
- Coordinate and track communication with courts, creditors, and other involved parties.
- Assist with post-filing tasks, including reaffirmation agreements, discharge motions, and case closure procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bankruptcy law or as a case manager in a legal setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of bankruptcy procedures (Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 13).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive client information confidentially.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
